Great Gatsby

On November 8th, Dodson’s 7th through 10th grade students had the incredible opportunity to attend the World Ballet Company’s production of The Great Gatsby in Great Falls, Montana. The event offered students a unique blend of literature, music, and movement, bringing F. Scott Fitzgerald’s classic novel to life in a whole new way.

For many students, this was their first time attending a live ballet performance, and the experience left a lasting impression. The dancers’ artistry, the beautiful costumes, and the storytelling through movement captured everyone’s attention from start to finish.

“This was such an amazing opportunity for our students,” said one Dodson teacher. “They not only got to see a world-class performance, but they also experienced the power of live art and storytelling beyond the classroom.”

The trip was part of Dodson School’s ongoing effort to broaden students’ cultural and artistic experiences. Judging by the enthusiastic reactions on the bus ride home, The Great Gatsby ballet was a resounding success—and an unforgettable day for everyone who attended.
